EX-1A Ironleaf · Pink Shoals
This log preserves the available reconnaissance record that established Pink Shoals as Survey Site Beta, including aerial evaluation of the shallow-ocean environment, shoreline selection, and the beginning of marine field operations.
High-altitude reconnaissance identified a broad shallow ocean broken by small island landmasses. Geological formations were visible beneath the surface, and the water appeared calm with excellent visibility.
A low shoreline was selected for landing. From the waterline, the survey expanded into the surrounding shallows, where multiple aquatic organisms, rooted marine flora, spiral mineral towers, and basin-like benthic structures were observed.
The surviving source preserves the observational sequence but not a complete Commander–Aster transmission. The archive therefore records the authenticated field observations without reconstructing dialogue that was not preserved.
Site Log 002A establishes Survey Site Beta and begins the Pink Shoals field operation. Subsequent scientific records continue with the completed Pink Shoals Site Survey.
